Haunted Road

Do u know where is Tambun Inn, Ipoh? Well, some said that it is haunted but the main focus here is the road it is situated. This main road stretches from Tambun to Ipoh City and along the road, there are Mariaville, Marian Convent, Thai Temple and a large Chinese cemetery on the left and right side of the road. The Kinta Memorial Park will be built in this Chinese cemetery. Ipohans should know what im talking about. This road is decorated with big and old trees on the left and right side, providing shade for the passing cars and when wind blew, dried golden leaves will fall...making such a romantic scene in the heart of the city. The road is such a beautiful avenue. However, behind the great old trees is the large Chinese cemetery and gives a creepy feeling especially at night. Rumours said that this road is haunted due to the cemetery along the road. Many taxi drivers have encountered a lady dressed in red, trying to flag taxi at the wee hours. Most of the Ipoh taxi drivers knew about this and whenever they see her, they will speed off. So, please do not stop for this lady if u happen to see her late at night on this road.
