Annoyed Japanese Army

My sister has a friend who claims that she has sixth sense, the ability to see ghosts. Lets call her M. M was involved in an activity which required students to stay over night in the school. Hence, the girls stayed over in a classroom. M had a friend who is very talkative and noisy. She loves to talk so much and that very night, it was very late. Her voice broke the silence of the night and M asked her to keep quiet because something was wrong. This noisy girl refused and kept on asking for the reason for the shut up. M said something was lurking outside the window and she should keep quiet. This girl refused and walked towards the window. She opened the window and refuse to quiet down, talking to her friends loudly from the window. The next morning, M confronted this girl. M said when she opened the window, there were dead Japanese soldiers lining up in front of the window looking at her and looked unhappy. The were annoyed with the noise she made.

Haunted Musical School

This is a story by my sister who has a friend, S studying in a musical school in KL. This musical school is infamous for its ghosts and very very haunted it seems. The guards in the school always ask for transfer because they kept seeing things at night and its scary. Thus, student there always see new faces as guards. This incident happened in an orchestra hall. S plays a traditional Chinese musical instrument, guzheng and they had practice in the hall. According to S, his seniors banned a song from playing because whenever this song is played, something eerie will happen in the hall. Before S attended the school, there was a eerie story about this song. Undeniably, this song is very nice to be heard but whenever it plays, 4 ghosts will appear in the hall. These ghosts are believed to be as a family, two adults and two children. They were dressed in traditional Chinese costumes and with red spots on both side of their cheeks. Sort of like those paper man Chinese burn for the dead, u can imagine? Ok, so when this song is played, the seniors can see these ghosts sobbing at a distance before jumping off the building and vanished into thin air. These seniors were scared at first but as time passed, they were so pissed off with these ghosts, keep on bothering their practice. One night, after practising the song and the same thing happened again, 2 seniors, male and female went to look for these ghosts angrily. However, they couldnt find them and when nature called, the female wanted to use the toilet and the male waited outside. To the male's horror, he saw these ghosts were playing peeking in the cubicles and so happen, the female was in one of the cubicles. However, the female saw nothing. They were so freak out and ran back to the hall. From that day onwards, the seniors banned this song. Years passed by and everyone forgot this incident as these ghosts never appear anymore ever since this song isnt audible. When S was practicing in the hall one day, someone discovered the song lyrics and played it. S felt that this song was very familiar and this was when a girl, one of the players started to cry and looked pale at a corner. S knew this girl has sixth sense and asked her what happened. To afraid to speak out, she asked for this song to stop. S suddenly remember that this song was banned from the practice and asked the commander to stop this song. Everyone followed and the song stopped. S asked the girl what she saw and this girl said she saw a lady ghost was sobbing at a corner, very pitifully. Then, a handphone which belongs to someone in the team was gone missing. This phone was put on a stand and it just vanished. Everyone looked for the phone but to no avail. Then, someone suggested to go for supper before coming back again to search for the phone. S was the last one who closed the door and off the lights. When he was about to close the door, he heard a lady screaming in a very high pitch in his ears. He had goosebumps. Not only S, others heard it too and everyone rushed for supper. They talked about this but only some heard the screaming, not all. After supper, they went back to the hall to look for the phone again but to no avail again. This time, S whispered silently in the hall and apologize to the ghosts for any disturbance cordially. Then, the phone came out of nowhere and there it was, on the stand again. Spooky?

Lonely Senior

This is a story I read from a website. I dunno if its true anot but I found it worth to share so im publishing it here. A junior of first year in a university was staying alone in a hostel room and in her first few nights there, she was bothered by knocking on the door. Every hostel door in the girls' dorm is knocked followed by a girl's voice saying 'Is anyone there? Can v talk?' When no one answers, the knockings and pleading proceed to the next room until the last room and everything became quiet again. This girl thought that it must be some girl in the dorm trying to play a prank on them so ignored for the first few days. When her curiousity grew, she asked her seniors and to her horror, she learned that years ago, a senior broke up with her boyfriend and wanted to talk to someone. It was late midnight that time and she knocked on every door, repeating her plea to all girls but everyone was sound asleep so no one opened the door for her. She was devastated and jumped off the building and died instantly. From that day onwards, the knocking and plea continue every night. All the seniors knew about this and never open their door. The junior girl learned the horrible truth and was scared when dusk falls. That night, she heard knocking and voices from the far end of the corridor, starting from the first room and the knockings and voices grew louder, approaching her room. She was so scared and freak out that she hide herself under her bed. When it was her room, the knockings repeated and a girl said 'Is anyone there? Can v talk?' The junior girl was shivering under the bed when she heard the girl outside the room said 'Ah, I finally found someone to talk to'. The junior girl fainted. U see, when the senior fell off, her head landed first. This is almost the same to the story 'Inverted Girlfriend' I published earlier.

Inverted Girlfriend

This is another story contributed by my sister when she shared horror stories with a Taiwan friend. Another story that became an urban legend in the heart of Taiwan relates to a lovely couple. The boyfriend made his girlfriend pregnant but refuse to take her hand in marriage. He dumped her and left for China. The girl was devastated and took her own life by jumping off a building, where her head landed first. Her death alerted her ex and the boy flew all the way from China back to Taiwan to attend her funeral. He was saddened by her death and couple of days later, he met a monk, sort of a high priest. The monk told him that he was very down with his luck and asked him to reveal what had happened to him recently. The guy told him exactly what happened and the monk was worried. The monk told him that on the 7th day after her girlfriend's death, she will be back for revenge with full hatred and rage. Since she landed her head first, she will be back with inverted form (legs facing the sky and head on the ground). It is so creepy to imagine this. On the 7th day itself, the guy hide himself under his bed. According to the monk, he had to survive this day and his girlfriend will not come for him anymore. Otherwise, he has to pay for breaking the girl's heart. At that very night, when he was hiding himself under his bed, he heard something heavy bouncing outside his room. U know what's bouncing? The girl was in inverted form and she was bouncing with her head on the ground. The bouncing sound became so loud but it stopped. The guy was relieved and thought that she was gone. When he opened his eyes slowly, he saw her facing her but upside down, grinning to him. The next day, he was found dead and the cause to his death is heart attack.

Back to back

This is a story contributed by my sister. This story happened in Taiwan and quite famous, it seems. It has many versions of itself because so many people share the same story. Two girls shared the same room and were roommates. One day, a girl lets call her A wanted to go back to village and B, being a dear and concern friend, smsed her when she was on her way back to the village. No smses were replied and her phone could not be reached. B began to worry and kept calling A to make sure she was alright. On the forth day, A's phone is finally reached but no one picked up. The last sms B sent to A was 'Where r u? Im really worried for u'. One night, when B was almost asleep, she received a sms from A and it said 'Back to back'. B was stunned and began to look around. B was on her upper part of double decker and she noticed that B' stuffs were missing. She thought she had packed most of her belongings back to village but it seems like all her stuffs were missing completely. To her horror, she saw A was tied at the back of her upper decker bed, dead. It was then known that A was killed after a robbery in the hostel room and her body was tied at the back of the upper decker bed which explains why dead A smsed to B of her whereabout which is back to back with her. This story is a bit sceptical, how can A not noticed B was tied down her bed and how A's body never rot and let out stench smell even after a few days. No matter how doubtful this story is, it remains a horror story that circulates the Taiwanese.

Fatal Encounter

This story here is contributed by my sister...she heard it from someone but i hv forgotten who actually told her. It all started by 3 curious and adventurous friends in a school. These 3 girls were friends and studied in a same school. One day, when all other students went back home and it was very late, these girls were still in school. They noticed a room in their school was strange. The lights kept on flickering although the room was empty. Out of curiousity, they decided to check it out. As the saying goes, curiousity kills a cat. However, not all 3 of them went to check it out...one stayed behind. Here it goes, when they decided to go up to higher floor to investigate, one of the girls, lets call her Jean*, heard a very strange and horrible sound. She was scared and refuse to investigate with her other 2 friends, Sarah* and Helen*. Sarah and Helen left Jean at the ground floor because she chicken out and both of them proceeded to the room. A moment later, both Sarah and Helen ran to Jean in fear and they were pale. Jean was suprised and asked them what exactly happened. Sarah and Helen told Jean what they had encountered; They went up to the room and peeped from the outside. They saw a lady, a very haggard-look lady with hunchback, walking very slowly to a chair. When she reached the chair, she melted into liquid and reformed herself as a hunchback lady seconds later (sounds unbelievable, huh?). Sarah and Helen couldnt believe their eyes and ran away in fear. After this incident, they did not tell anyone about their encounter and their friendship seemed to be drifted apart. They no longer talk and loiter around. Not long after their encounter, Sarah died in a car accident. A very horrible accident. Jean and Helen were saddened by her sudden departure but still move on. A few years later, Helen scored better than Jean in a public examination. That time, they were both strangers, no longer good friends as before. Not long after the result was released, Helen was diagnosed with a strange and chronic disease. There is no cure for the disease and she died after that. Jean was so afraid that the encounter with the hunchback lady had been a fatal curse to both Helen and Sarah. Thus, she related this encounter to her mother and her mother was so worried for Jean that she brought her to a medium for solution. The medium asked them not to worry because Jean did not look at the hunchback lady that evening, which means her life is spared. The medium also told them that the strange and horrible sound that she heard that day was actually made by her guardian angel, to warn her not to investigate with Helen and Sarah. Believe it or not? It depends on u...lol

Late Night Passenger

This is a story contributed by my sister's boyfriend. He has a Malay friend who has third eye. He is able to see unseen entities. This incident happened when the Malay guy, lets call him A and his friend went up from Batang Kali to Genting at midnight. A was driving his car and his friend was siting next to him. The back seats were empty. On the way up, A felt that the car was loaded by something very heavy. He looked into the back mirror and to his horror, he saw a very fat entity siting at the back seat. This entity was faceless and its body was so big that it covered the view to the back. A couldnt see the back of his car because the fat ghost was blocking. However, A kept quiet as not to frighten his friend next to him. After they reached Genting, only then A revealed his experience to his friend.

Late Night Swim at Singapore's Beach

This story I read it from Singapore True Ghost Stories and i find it very creepy so wanna share with u guys here. This Malay Singaporean man loves swimming and he used to swim at beaches in Singapore late at night. Nothing had happened to him before until one night, he encountered something that changed his habit of late night swimming forever. As usual, this man went to the beach, got naked and jumped into the sea to swim. He loves swimming that he was so engrossed in it until he heard someone calling for help. He paused and looked around. He saw someone in the sea, very far from him. He could tell tht it was a man. He noticed that this man was drowning. Determined to save him, he swam with all his might towards this poor man. As he swam nearer, he noticed something was amiss. The drowning man was pale and his skin was rotting. Faggots could be seen on his face and his head was covered with seaweed. His hands were not struggling in water but the movements were similar to calling the Malay man closer and closer. The drowning man had wicked look and evil eyes. In fact, he had no eyes, only eye sockets could be seen. The last thing that scared the Malay man was that this drowning man was actually smiling....he had wicked grin! The Malay man was so freaked out and he knew it was a water ghost seeking for victim. He made his way back and swam with all his might back to the seashore. Upon looking the rescuer changed his mind, the drowning man yelled "OOI....OOOIII"
Then, the drowning man let out a very evil and wicked laugh "WAKAKAKAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" The Malay man swam and looked back, the drowning man was laughing so wickedly in the sea. Upon reaching seashore, he picked up his clothes and ran to his car. He sped home. From that day onwards, he never dare to swim at night anymore. This story gave me goosebumps everytime i recall it.

Beautiful Factory Ghost

This story is not my personal encounter but i read it somewhere and it is true. It happened in a factory in Singapore. This guy started to work in this factory for not long and he was hardworking. He was very dedicated to his work and his passion for his work never dies. One night when he was working OT (over time), he encountered a scary experience that he will never forget for the rest of his life. Here the story goes, it was late at night and the factory was dark. It was dim and he could only see near objects. He was alone, engrossed with his work until he heard someone was operating a machine. He was suprised as he was sure that he was alone that time. Curious of who it was, he took a peep and saw that a girl was operating a machine. He could only tell that it was a girl since it was dark that time. From the body shape and hair, i guess. He went nearer and nearer. It was really a girl, a very beautiful girl he had never seen before. Her complexion was fair and her eyes were big and beautiful. Her lips was rosy red and she was a perfect being. He saw her in his factory's uniform but he had not seen her before. Maybe a new colleague? He approached her and this girl was friendly. She smiled at him and talked to him. During their conversation, this guy noticed that this girl is actually very pale and sweating. She was actually looking for something. "Im looking for something, i think i dropped it here but i cannot find it anywhere" the girl said to him. This guy helped her to search for her thing by squatting down and look on the floor. He asked her "Miss, what did u lose that u must look for it at this hour?" The lady said in a very sad tone " I lost my hand" The guy was shocked to hear that and looked at her. The dim lights from far shone on that girl and also her hand. The guy saw that this girl had lost her hand up to her wrist and she was bleeding badly. That explains why she was pale. The guy was so shocked that he fainted. The next morning, he was awakened by his colleagues and he related his experience to them. The colleagues were not suprised and told him what happened in this factory before he came. Long ago before he came, there was this beautiful lady who worked there. One day, while operating the machine, she had an accident that cut her wrist off. She was bleeding badly and was rushed to the hospital. On the way to the hospital, this girl died due to excessive loss of blood. From that day onwards, this girl always search for her lost hand every night.

Haunted Highland Tower

Im sure many still remember the incident of Highland Tower. It was a tragedy which cost many lives. This tower must hv been built on loose ground or the architects have been sleeping on their job. Rain was pouring down so heavily for a few days. The heavy rain caused the building to collapse and killed so many residents trapped in it. How can a building collapse so easily just because it was raining? It is better said that 'they' were sleeping on their job. The incident shocked the nation where hundreds of live were lost. This building, precisely situated in the Selangor province was rumoured to be haunted ever since that tragedy. Residents living nearby often heard people screaming and crying late at night. Probably the ghosts of the dead which try to escape from that place. Not only noises could be heard. Ghosts sightings were reported also. There was a taxi driver who drove near that place to look for customers at night. A lady came out of no where flagged his taxi and boarded. This lady requested to go to Highland Tower but the driver did not sense anything amiss. It is very weird for a lady to go to the abandoned building at the wee hours. When they reach the building, the lady gave the driver her purse and boarded off. The driver was confused and opened up her purse. He was so shocked to see that the purse was full of blood and hell notes. Another incident also relates taxi driver. This Malay driver was looking for customer nearby too when he saw a young Malay girl flagged his taxi. Pressed on the break and let the lady to board on, he asked where she wanted to go. This lady requested to go to Highland Tower also. On the way to the building, this driver started to converse with this lady and their conversation lead to the purpose why this lady wanted to go to that abandoned building at that hour. This lady replied in Malay "Oh taxi brother, I forgot to take my things. My belongings are left i that building" The driver replied "Cant u take them tomorrow? It is very late and its very dangerous. What are those things that u need them so urgently?" The lady smiled and answered him "Oh, those things are my arms and legs" After that, i do not know what happened to the taxi driver.

Hospital

It is very common to hear ghost sightings in the hospital as there will be patients passing away every day there. The souls of the dead roam the hospital and refuse to move on. Those with bad luck might hv encountered them. It is believed that these ghosts do not dare to disturb the doctors and nurses in the hospital. Not because these ghosts respect them but it is because of the doctor's robe and also the nurses' cap. Each and everyone of the nurse is compulsory to hv their cap on especially those with night shifts. It is believed that the caps have ability to drift the spirits away. Nurses and doctors are familiar with strange noises in the hospital. A neighbour of my grandma who is a retired nurse, had served the General Hospital for many years. When she was working at night, she could hear footsteps from every corner. The footsteps were obviously not human's. This is because the noise could be heard in front of the nurse and in a blink of eye, shifted to the back, right and left. As if someone was walking in front of the nurse but quickly to the back, right and left. No human can do that and of course, there wasnt any sighting of a being when the footsteps were heard. However, the spirit dare not to stay too close to the nurse due to her cap. It is believed that the ghosts dare not to enter police station too so next time when a ghost is after u and u cant find a temple, hide in the police station!

Crying Dead Man in the Car

Few years back, i think around 2 years or so...there was this man in Ipoh who got shot 7 times in his own brand new Saga car. This news came out in the paper too. What a coincident, this man is actually a relative of my aunt's neighbour. The relative of his live right opposite my aunt's house. From what I heard, this man was a bad guy when he was still alive. He was Along aka loan shark and did alot of sinful things. That explains why he had his life ended in such a cruel manner. He was shot 7 times and the last shot took his life. The bullet went straight into his head. He died in his car. This car is also owned by his nephew who is my aunt's neighbour because when they bought the car, this car is put under the nephew's name. Thus, after the incident, the nephew brought back this car after cleaning the blood stains all over the car and repaired the damaged windows. The night when he drove his car home, my aunt's dogs showed unusual behaviour by howling to the car. The howl was like the cry of the dogs (if u ever heard a dog cries, u will know). My uncle thought that it might be some bitches ( female dogs) having period, which caught the attention of the male dogs. However, the howl seemed not right. The neighbours were afraid as they knew that the dogs can see entities which we cannot. When one of the neighbour asked my aunt, my aunt thought nothing was amiss but when they asked her to be more alert, my aunt noticed that her dogs only howl when the nephew drove his car back. Therefore, there were rumours in the neighbourhood saying that the car is haunted by the previous owner. The dogs kept on howling even at midnight, causing the neighbours had hard times to fall asleep. One of the neighbours, who happens to live next to the nephew, claimed that she heard cries at midnight and sometimes from 6am until 9am. The cries of a man. She is convinced that she heard a man crying in front of her house. Not only her, her youngest daughter who was speaking on the phone at midnight, had goosebumps when she heard a man crying in front of her house. The cries were so real and it sounded very pity. Another neighbour's son heard someone walking here and there at the back lane at midnight. The next door neighbour was so afraid that ahe got an amulet from a temple and put next to her window. However, as time flies, the cries stopped and the howl of the dogs stopped as well. Maybe the dead man has reincarnated or moved on.

Haunted House in Convent

This is a story by my sister where her school, Main Convent held an event...let me recall...i think its a Canteen Day. They even made a Haunted House by connecting a few classrooms to become a single big room and this is the spot for the Haunted House. On the Canteen Day, those who wish to visit this Haunted House may take a walk in it. They have already allocate girls to become 'ghosts'. Many people went to visit this house and one girl claim to have seen a ghost. She told the rest that when she was visiting the house, she saw a lady who is unfamiliar and she was wearing yellow dress in the house. The way she described the lady made them more horrified as none of them recognise this yellow dress lady.

Haunted University

This is a story i read from somewhere but i forgot. This story is about a night class in University. I dunno which University because the writer didnt reveal the name of it. Here it goes, a guy and a group of his friends went for night class and headed to a room. On the way to the room, which is next to the field, they saw a ball, i think its a soccer ball in the field. They did not sense anything amiss and just went for the night class. When the professor was teaching, the ball suddenly rolled into the back of the class via back door. All the students were looking at the ball and some were in horror. Some might have already sense something was wrong with the ball. The professor was annoyed because his class was disturbed by a ball and furiously, he kicked it out of the room and the ball landed on the field again. Then, the lesson was on as usual. Not long after that, the same ball rolled into the class again via the back door. The students were in horror this time but the professor asked them to ignore the ball and concentrate on the on-going lesson. When the professor was teaching and he looked to the back of the class, he was paused and still. He was in horror too. He called the day off and straight went to his car and went back home. The students were confused and the ball was still there. They dare not to touch the ball and everyone went back to their hostel rooms. The following days, the professor was absent due to sick leave and it caused a stir in the U regarding what the professor saw that night. According to a source, that night, the professor was looking at the place where the ball was in the back of the room and saw a figure siting at the back of the room. The figure was actually the professor himself and the figure was smiling and grinning towards the professor. A doppelganger, i assume...!

Haunted Road

Do u know where is Tambun Inn, Ipoh? Well, some said that it is haunted but the main focus here is the road it is situated. This main road stretches from Tambun to Ipoh City and along the road, there are Mariaville, Marian Convent, Thai Temple and a large Chinese cemetery on the left and right side of the road. The Kinta Memorial Park will be built in this Chinese cemetery. Ipohans should know what im talking about. This road is decorated with big and old trees on the left and right side, providing shade for the passing cars and when wind blew, dried golden leaves will fall...making such a romantic scene in the heart of the city. The road is such a beautiful avenue. However, behind the great old trees is the large Chinese cemetery and gives a creepy feeling especially at night. Rumours said that this road is haunted due to the cemetery along the road. Many taxi drivers have encountered a lady dressed in red, trying to flag taxi at the wee hours. Most of the Ipoh taxi drivers knew about this and whenever they see her, they will speed off. So, please do not stop for this lady if u happen to see her late at night on this road.

Playful Ghost

This is a story i heard from radio...i dunno if it is true anot but according to the DJ, it is a real story. This man, he has two cellphones...many people nowadays have two cellphones. He was at outstation and checked into a hotel...dunno which hotel but its a haunted one of course. He checked into his room and got tired. Hence, he wanted to shower first before going to bed. He placed his cellphones adjacent to each other on a table and went for shower. When he was showering, he heard his cellphone was ringing but he din bother and continue to shower as he thought that he would call the dialer later. However, both his cellphones rang simultaneously and he thought maybe the dialer tried to reach the second phone number after attempting the first one but both the phones kept ringing until he finished showering. To his horror, the dialer of the second cellphone is the first cellphone that he put on the table. Both the cellphones were put adjacent to each other and the first one dialing the second one and vice verse. Playful, huh?

Grandpa's Visit

In the year of 2006, my grandpa was seriously ill. My grandma died in the year of 2002 due to car accident and after she died, my grandpa said she was replacing his death. My grandpa has always been sick and my belated grandma always be there for him until the year 2002. It was so sad and tearful to hear that my grandpa blamed himself for my grandma's death. He fainted and cried non-stop on the day she died. It was indeed tearful that day. 4 years later, my grandpa was again very sick and was admitted to GH. We were asked to visit him for the last time because he was in coma and did not wake up for days. We took our turn to take care of him. Grandpa was in ICU and we prayed that he will wake up again. One day, my uncle and my mom went to GH to see my grandpa. They were talking to him and all of sudden, he woke up. He starred at both of them ad was speechless. Doctor was called to examine him. My mom and uncle were startled because grandpa woke up in an unusual way. Then, the doctor said that it was a miracle for my grandpa and his condition wasnt critical anymore. After he woke up, he was weak and cannot utter a word properly. We took care of him in GH everyday to make sure that he was alright. Then, one day when my mom was talking to grandpa, my grandpa told me that he visited the Underworld. He told my mom about what he saw and who he encountered in the Underworld. My mom just listened to him meekly and comforted him whenever he was gasping. I was there too when the story was told but they spoke in Hakka, i cannot understand fully Hakka. According to my grandpa, he went to this place with houses and many people...i mean ghosts. He saw some of our dead relatives. Some of the relatives who i never knew went to him and invited him into their house. They were chatting and suddenly a man came in. A man my grandpa never knew. The man told my grandpa that he is a brother of his who died long ago. Then when the dead relatives asked how he got his way here, he replied that he was sick. The relatives quickly ask him to leave this place as soon as he could..."Quick, leave! You shouldnt have come here! Leave!" Then the officers from Hell came to them and demand for my grandpa. They hide him somewhere and told the Hell officers that my grandpa did not come to them. The dead relatives quickly send my grandpa off and the next thing he knew, he was lying in the hospital, staring at my mom and uncle. Thank goodness to the relatives down there for covering up for my grandpa so he wasnt taken away.

Reincarnated Souls

Do u believe in reincarnation? Well, in Buddhism and Hinduism, we strongly believe there will be rebirth after death. In Buddhism, the souls are given a second chance to pay their debts that they have done next life. They will be given a bowl of soup by an old lady at the bridge in the hell. Once they drink the soup, they will forget everything in this life and start anew in the next life. Chinese believe that the souls of the dead will not remember clearly what had happened when they were still alive...they also barely can remember their relatives...only can remember a bit but not clear. At the moment when they drink the soup, all the old memories will drain in and they will remember all their loved ones...thats wat my mom told me...lolx. The story im gonna share with u today is a true story. Remember the boy in Genting who has the ability to see and hear ghosts but his mother closed the Heaven sight for him, rendering only sounds of ghosts audible? This boy revealed to my sister when his mother was in labour. Before i continue the story, have u guys watch The Eye 2, starring by Shu Qi? That is a horror ghost movie. In that movie, Shu Qi acted as a pregnant woman who wanna commit suicide but failed. Then she was able to see ghosts and a female ghost followed her and wanted to reincarnate as her baby girl! This true story is similar to this film. The boy's mother has Heaven sight too and when she was in the ward room to give birth to her first child( the boy's sister), she was actually in horror. There were alot of ghosts surrounding her when she was in labour. She was too shocked to see so many 'guests' visiting her ward room and they were surrounding her. To her suprise, one of the ghosts reincarnate and was born as her baby girl. Years later, when she was giving birth to this boy, she encountered the same situation and the ghosts were surrounding her too. She was in pain and concentrated to give birth but she knew, one of the 'guests' already reincarnated as her son. Believe it or not, it depends...XP

Haunted Toilet In Ipoh Parade

This is a story contributed by my friend. He also heard from someone else. It was rumoured that Ipoh Parade's toilet is haunted, i mean the one in the cinema. The lady's toilet is always rumoured with ghost stories. From what I heard, there was this lady who went into a cubicle and did her business. She saw a pair of legs standing right in front of her cubicle and when she opened the door, she saw no one. Another story is that a lady who finished doing her business, washed her hands. Then from the big mirror, she saw a head, apparently, a female head flew behind her. So scary huh?

Hide and Seek in Adrian Tsen Pavillion

This is a story by my friend who was in the Michaelian Military Band. U see, there is a big pavillion on the far left hand side of the main building of the school. It is attached to the left wing of St Michael. This pavilion is called Adrian Tsen Pavilion, thanks to Mr Adrian Tsen who contributed huge amount of money to construct this pavilion, This pavilion is a site for students to line up and wait for the school to start. It also turn into a haunted ground at night. This story happened few years back when the military band had to stay over in school. Many band members were in the school classroom and they got the idea of playing hide and seek in the school. There will be punishments for the student who cannot find all of those who were hiding. This boy, started to look for his friends when the game started. His friends hide in the entire school so this boy took some time to find all of them. When he was about to look for the last one hiding, he couldnt locate where this boy was so he went to this pavilion. It was so dark in the pavilion at night and it is facing the school field, making it more creepy. Only lights from road lamp posts made it visible with dim lights. This boy went to pavilion and started to look for the last boy. Then, he saw something, precisely someone...squatting down with the back facing him. He thought it was his friend and when he was about to tap his back, all of his friends called for him. He went away and saw everyone was there, calling for him, including the last boy that he wanted to look for. He was suprised. The last boy asked why he didnt look for him and so they went to look for this boy. This boy asked whether he got hide himself in the pavilion. The boy denied and in fact, everyone denied of going to the pavilion. No one had ever been there that night. Those boys knew the pavilion is haunted and therefore, all of them knew 'who' was actually hiding in the pavilion that night. Maybe just a lonely spirit who wanted to join their game. :)

Scary Marian Library

St Michael Institution, my alma mater has an old library with very old books. This library has a name, we call it Marian Library. The icon of this library would be The Falcon and The Falconer. It is a statue of a man holding a flying falcon. There was this old man, with hunch back and he had been serving for our school for decades. He is a very old Chinese man and works in the office. This man has passed away. I still remember when I was in my lower form, he will walk around the school and when we greet him, he barely answer. Maybe because he was too tired and not because he was reluctant to answer. I still remember that he went back by taxi everyday. I heard that he was single and has no family. A tribute to him, he had served the school to the very end of his life. He was like a guard in the school many years back. Many years back, the school library would be opened for students to come back late at night to do revision just like Sam Tet High School. However, a scary incident made the school authority to close the entire school after sunset. Here it goes, this old man who was young that time, used to patrol in the school and even checked the Marian Library every night. One night, when he was doing his normal routine, he saw something moved in the library. When he took a loser look, it was the statue (Falcon and The Falconer) running in the library. He got the shock of his life and ran from the library. Since the incident, he became hunch back and the library is now closed at night to hinder people from seeing this statue running again.

Packed Lift in Genting?

This is a story told by my sister, she was working in genting and knew this boy who happened to hv special ability to see and hear ghosts. His mother who has the same ability able to close his Heaven Sight but his hearing ability cannot be closed. From tht moment onwards, this boy can hear people whispering or gasping for air heavily. This story begins when this boy and his 7 other friends were in Genting Highlands. One of his friend, a girl who can see ghosts also was in the group. All of them went into a lift to go to higher floors. As soon as they went in, the lift starts to warn for heavy lifting. Ding Ding Ding....although only 8 of them in the lift. The instruction in the lift states that the maximum number of people that can accomodate a lift is 21 people. You know what i mean...it is believed that if u encounter sch unexplainable situations, do not tell right on the spot. This is what one of the girls did. She was freak out and keep on saying 'what happened? why like that? so scary!' The boy and the girl who can see ghosts ask her to shush but she still keep on repeating the same sentence. They left the lift and scolded the girl for being so talkative-about-ghost. That very night, the girl dreamed of many ghosts chasing after her.

Wicked Laugh During Funeral

Erm, this story is about my family. This is a story about my great grandparents of my maternal side. Here it goes, my great grandpa and my great grandma were not so happy together. They lived in separate houses. My grandpa and his siblings always had difficulties and finally, one day, my great grandpa passed away. Before he passed away, he told his children not to mourn for their mother's death (my great grandma) after she die. The children just reluctantly agreed because they do not wanna disappoint him. Then, my great grandpa just moved on. It is a must for the Chinese to mourn for their parents death, in fact for 3 years. During mourning, they cannot celebrate Chinese New Year, visit others house and cannot get married. Filial children will wear white cloth during funeral. Ladies will wear a straw like hat to mourn, males will tie white cloth on the head. Not long after that, my great grandma passed away too. That time, i was still a small kid and i wasnt allowed to go to the funeral. The following story is told by my mother. My mum and dad went to the funeral and my grandpa siblings decided to wear the straw like hat to mourn for their mother. My grandpa insisted that they obey my great grandpa last will but out of love for their mother, the sisters insisted to mourn for their mother. Suddenly, the sky turned dark and wind was blowing s strong. All the relatives present were so shocked to see a sudden change of weather. Thunderstorm arrived and wind blew so strongly. My mum, dad, uncles and aunts were so shocked to see this, in fact, everyone was stunned. Then, my mum and uncles heard someone was giggling behind the bushes. The wicked giggling and evil laugh isnt human and they were in horror. The ladies who saw the sudden change of weather and evil laugh behind bushes, quickly took off the straw like hat and threw them on ground. The weather changed back to normal and the evil laugh stopped. Everyone was so shocked and was unbelievable of what just happened. Then, they went to the neighbour and asked them about the weather change. All the neighbour denied of the weather change and said that the weather was fine the whole day. After i listen to my mum, i think that the one hiding behind the bushes was actually my great grandpa, letting out evil laugh and punishing the children for not listening to his last will. My mum still remember this incident clearly, anyone who attended the funeral actually did. Maybe those of u who read this might find it unbelievable but this is a true story.

The Offerings

The Chinese believe that by burning offerings to the dead, the dead will somehow receive these offerings in the other realm. How true is that, no one actually can explain. Maybe some who read this will say bullshit or it is just air polluting. However, Im a Chinese and I believe in this tradition. The Chinese have invented offerings like houses, cars, DVD player, jewelery, maids and lots more. Ancient Chinese burned hell notes only but as life is modernized, modern Chinese burned many different type of things for the deceased. It is believed that when offerings are being burnt, there must be silence. Not a single word is uttered and this is to avoid offending the nearby spirits. Normally, Chinese burn the offerings during Qing Ming Festival for ancestors or during Hungry Ghosts Festival. I remember my neighbour told me that a friend of hers, has a grandchild. The grandchild is very young. As you know, kids always see something that the adults cannot see. Their eyes are pure and are known as Heaven Eye. As u grow older, this ability is lost but some can retain this gift. Here it goes, the grandma was burning the offerings during Hungry Ghost Festival. Then this small kid came out of the house and went to his grandma. He asked gently 'Popo, popo, why are the uncles and aunties grab paper from the ashes and put in their pocket?' The grandma was stunned and asked the kid to keep quiet. Kids dont lie and these ghosts actually received the offerings from the burnt hell note.

Haunted Rented Room

This incident happened to my neighbour's daughter. She went to KL with her friend and together, they rented this room with low price. They started to feel something is wrong in the room because they can feel another presence in the room. Someone is looking at them, all the time. When she took shower, she felt like someone is watching her but she just cannot tell. The door is locked and it is impossible for anyone to peep her and gave her such a strong spine chilling feel. When they cook, they placed eggs on the table and after a moment, the eggs are placed somewhere else. The girls swear that they did not touch the eggs at all. The final straw is when her friend was watching TV alone. When she was watching TV at night, she felt someone was touching her shoulder and the hand is very icy cool. When she turned her head to see who it was, she saw a man, smiling at her. Calmly, she let out all her 'holy words' !@%^(**&##$%@&(**(*^**)((XXXFXXXK&&*(##@ the man quickly disappear from her sight. The girls now moved out from the room already. It is said that you have to say bad words, as worst as you can to scare 'them' away and it really worked!

Haunted Hotel Room

This story is not my personal encounter but it is an encounter of a male celebrity of a TV show. This guy went outstation with his friend and stayed overnight in a hotel but each took a room. At night, after work, this celebrity and his friend went back to their respective rooms and took rest. Then, this celebrity heard someone rang the bell. He peeped via the door hole and saw no one. He thought maybe it was his friend who played a prank on him. Ignoring the ringing of the bell, he went to bed. However, the bell kept ringing and he couldnt take it. He opened the door and shouted but there wasnt anyone at his door. He still thought that it was his friend but despite being tired, he didnt care and went to bed. In the middle of his sleep, he was partially awake in midnight and saw something standing at his balcony. The window is glass-type and is a sliding window where he can see anything outside clearly. He saw a lady in white robe and long black hair standing at his balcony. He thought it was a dream but tried hard to look at the figure. It is impossible for someone to be standing there because his room isnt at ground floor. It is several floors above ground. When he tried hard to look at her, the lady slowly float in, passing through the glass window. This guy was so shocked and was awake completely. The lady sat next to him and asked him in a harsh and manly voice 'I was ringing the bell, why din u let me in?' The guy was so scared that he covered himself with the blanket. The voice faded away and he thought everything was fine. Just when he uncovered himself, the lady was again next to him, this time just an inch or two away from his face. The lady was pale and she even touched the hand of the celebrity. Her hand was so icy and this guy was so freaked out. He ran out of his room and flee to his friend's room to sleep with his friend. He didnt tell his friend about the lady until they checked out. According to the receptionist, there was a lady who committed suicide years ago due to love failure. Her spirit still haunt the room.

Haunted Hotel In Thailand

This is not my personal encounter and i wish it will never be! I learned this story from a TV show about a celebrity who went to Thailand for work. Erm, this story is a bit scary so before i continue, if anyone would like to navigate away, plz do so. She stayed in a hotel room together with a female colleague. They were tired that night and went straight to bed. When they were sleeping, they heard noise from the next room. Noise like people were renovating the room, pulling chair and scratching the wall. The ladies were annoyed and called counter to complain. The worker told them that the next room is vacant and the noise they heard probably from nearby construction site. They couldnt believe and denied that it is impossible for the construction work to begin at that hour. It was midnight. After convincing them that the next room is vacant, they went back to bed. Not long after that, the noise begin again and this time the ladies cannot take it. They went to the next room and banged the door asking the people inside to keep quiet. This time, the noise stopped. The girls warn the people in the 'vacant' room before going back to their room. When they were preparing to sleep again, the noise start again and the ladies were furious. They went to the next room and banged the door again, The noise stopped again. The ladies still refuse to go and decided to peep if anyone was inside the room at the bottom of the door. There is a space where the ladies can see right into the room but only the ground part. When they were busy peeping, suddenly, they saw a woman in the room peeped back to them. The woman's eyes were bleeding. The ladies were so shocked that they screamed and ran back to their room. The next day, when they signed out, they learned that there was this woman, got killed by her lover years ago. When she was dying, she was scratching the wall to seek help from the people living next room. After the murder case, the room is haunted.

Ghost Encounter In NS

We have often heard so many stories in NS and some are so scary that we do not dare to pee alone at night. I have been to NS and did not meet any ghost even though my camp is in remote area. I went to Kem Segari in Manjung, next to Malayan Flour Factory. Here are some stories I would like to share and is regarding NS camps.

1. The first story is about my camp. There is this rule that the girls cannot throw their pad in the toilet and in the dustbin but somehow the girls manage to throw it without breaking the rules...dun ask me how, i dunno...lol...Sorry, girls XP. It is said to be hygienic and is true indeed. However I found out the real reason for this rule when a fren told me this. Years ago, this rule was not implemented and girls can throw their pads in the dustbin next to the toilet. However, something happened one night that made this rule to be implemented. A Malay female trainer was patrolling at night and went to the toilet to see if anyone was hiding in the toilet and refuse to sleep ( who would? ). What she saw next freaked her out...She saw a lady in white with very very long hair next to the toilet. She was sucking something from the dustbin and when she took a closer look, she saw it was girl's pad with blood. After this incident, this rule is implemented to avoid luring pontianak to the camp. Pontianak are legendary females in Malay myth and they suck blood, something like vampire. Sorry again to girls who read this, i know its sensitive but just to share some stories here...lol

2. Another story was contributed by my classmate, Su Ann aka Penguin. She was recruited in NS oso but not my camp. Normally, she will wash her clothes when the Malays go for prayers, early in morning, like 5 something. It was as usual when she went to wash her clothes and after she finished her task, she was walking back to her dormitory. On the way back, she had to cross a path there was this heavy bushes at the side of the path...something like small jungle. Hahah. On her way back, she saw a Malay girl was hiding in the bushes. She judged it was a Malay girl due to her attire. The girl was wearing tudung and my fren couldnt see clearly as it was so dark. The Malay girl was looking at her and this girl, guess what...she was faceless. My fren who just woke up did not sense anything amiss and went back to dorm to take a nap. When she woke up again, then only she realized that the Malay girl was faceless.

3.This story happened in my camp and I sort of experienced it too. It happened in guys' dormitory at night. It was an early night and was noisy too...u know la, guys ma. It was around 8 something and we were alerted by woman's voice. I remember the woman said in Cantonese 'where am i?' loudly. Shocked to hear woman's voice in guys dormitory, we went out to look if any chicks got in but it is impossible, the guards are guarding the dorm strictly. Impossible for any girls to come in. It is not echo also because girls dorm is kinda far from ours. All the guys came out to see but saw no woman or girl.

4. It is compulsory for all to patrol the camp every night but with shifts. The trainers want us to patrol in pair and asked us not to point the torch at the roof because u might see something scary, looking back to u.

Another Na Du Gong Encounter

This incident happened to a fren of my fren...lolx. I remember this story when we were sharing ghost stories in NS and my fren, Vincent told me this. He told me that a fren of his was playing games until the wee hours and it was very late already probably 2 or 3 am in the morning. He was so tired and went out to the balcony to take some fresh air. When he was in the balcony, he saw an old man in white dress walking at a high speed which is impossible for a human being. The speed was very fast and compatible to a car. He was so shocked to see the old man and became paranoid after that. A relative of his is a medium and helped him to seek an answer of what he saw that morning. The medium was possessed and it was Na Du Gong who possessed her. The deity told this guy not to be afraid and said that he was speeding because he was in hurry to get his coconut juice...XD cute

Na Du Gong Encounter In Cameron Highland

This story I learned from a friend of mine in NS. We were sharing ghost story when he suddenly came up with his personal encounter with this deity. It is believed that Na Du Gong always show Himself in remote places particularly, hill areas and Cameron Highland is the best place. Many residents have claimed to have seen this deity in that area.It was late at night and my friend was heading home. His house is located at a sloppy area where he has to park his car and walk up to his house. It is sloppy that the car cannot park right in front the house. Therefore, at that very night, he parked his car as usual and got off. When he was about to walk up back to his house, he saw an old man from far and dressed in white. The old man looked so friendly and not scary but the only thing that freaked him out was that this old man was actually floating. He was so freak out that he ran back home and covered himself with a blanket. The next day, he saw the newspaper and found out that his car plate number strike the first prize but he din buy the lottery number. When he revealed this incident to his mother, his mother told him that the old man is Na Du Gong and blamed him for not telling her earlier, otherwise, she would have bought the car plate number. Probably, the deity felt sorry for freaking him out and let his car plate number to strike the first prize.

Deity Encounter

Well, first of all, this is not a ghost story but is deity encounter. This incident happened to my mother many years back when she was around 8 or 9 years old. My mother is turning 50 this year. She started to work when she was very young. In fact, she worked when she was 8 years old. My mother had a poverty yet happy life. She had to help my mother back in the rubber estates. Back then, my mother and my aunt were helping my grandmother in the estate because both of them are the eldest. They will set out to work early in the morning when it is still very dark. The weather was cold that very morning and surrounding was dark. In the estate, my mother, grandmother and aunt were preparing to tap the rubber tree. When my mother was doing her work, she looked up and saw a big white cloth flew above her. After that, she became sick for 3 weeks without any reason. My grandparents brought her to see doctor but to no avail. Desperate to help my mother, my grandmother brought her to see a medium. The medium told them that whatever my mother saw that morning isn't something dirty and told them not to worry. The medium said that the white cloth that my mother saw belongs to a deity which is familiar to the Southeast Asia Chinese, Na Du Gong. According to local belief, Na Du Gong is a Muslim but due to His good deeds, the local Chinese worship Him and offer Him coffee, coconut juice and Halal food. It is believed that this deity helps His disciple to strike lottery number and protect them from danger. My mother got heal soon after seeing the medium.

Restless Brothers of St Michael

The Brothers have dedicated themselves to the school and to the welfare of the students. Bearig the spirit of Faith Zeal and Community, these brothers serve the school to the fullest. Now, St Michael has oly 2 Brothers left, Brother Vincent Cockery and Brother Matthew Bay. Brother Vincent was the school's principle and is now staying in the La Salle Centre behind St Michael. Brother Matthew is also staying in La Salle Centre and photography is his hobby. It was said that our belated Brother Ultan Paul is always with us. He is always seen early in the morning, walking around the school compound with his Bible. According to n aunty in the foodcourt, she saw Brother U Paul walked past her that morning eventhough he is lone gone...passed away. There is also another story that says that early in the morning, you will see a Brother, kneeling in front of the chapel at the third floor and he was holding a Bible. This Brother is headless, probably he was beheaded during the Japanese Occupation. I remember a good Chemistry teacher, Mrs Yee told us that everytime she came to school early in the morning, she hears water drippling in the water pipe from the Brothers' Dormitory. The dorm is now converted to Form 6 classrooms and no one is using the toilet. Probably the late Brothers who come back to take shower. =P

School Girl in Main Convent

This story was told by my sister and this incident happened in her former school, Main Convent, the historical school next to Ipoh Parade and opposite to Sam Tet and St Michael Church. It is a premier school and is over 100 years old too. It was late in the evening when the discipline teacher was patrolling the school and saw 2 girls sitting at the canteen, one was doing homework, the other just sat there. The teacher did not go to them but just kept patrolling the whole school. After the patrol, she went back to the canteen but saw only the girl who was doing homework. She went near and asked her "Girl, where is the friend sitting next to you? She went back?". The girl gave her a weird look...and said "A friend? Teacher, I was all alone from just now, doing my homework". You know what I mean. The teacher just kept quiet and asked her to go back home as soon as possible.

Tailing Girl in Anderson School

Anderson, being one of Ipoh's premier school is always well known to its hockey team and is a place for the Perak royalties to school. Anderson is the alma mater to the Perak Sultan and His male royalties. This school is very old and historical, older than St Michael and is over 100 years old. The story here gives me goosebumps when I first heard it. This story was told by my sister and she heard it from her friend. You can still see the Andersonians hostel next to the big field and close to the brick wall. Right next to the brick wall is a deep drain that separates Anderson and blocks of old flats. These flats are no longer there and had been demolished to construct new hotel and shops. In case you still do not know, it is in Fair Park nd opposite to the petrol station and church. Here it goes...long ago, there was a boy, living in the hostel and he could always see a girl of his age in the opposite old flats. The girl was watching him from the old flat window everyday. It was said that this girl looked at him so lovingly as if she had fallen in love with this guy. When this boy was walking in the hostel, he could see this girl would be watching him. The horror begins when this guy heard sounds when he was walking. Sound TAP TAP TAP were heard as if someone was following him. Everytime he turned back, no one was in sight. Then everyday when he walked, he will always hear the same sound. One day, when he turned around after hearing the sounds, he found no one again but this time, he looked down and saw the girl from the old flat, crawling behind him and she did not have lower part of the body.

Yellow Dress Girl In St Michael

St Michael's Institution is my alma mater and in year 2012, she will be celebrating her 100th birthday. Estabished in 1912 and gainig its reputation, thanks to students perfoeming well in academics, sports and even politics( former students ). Well, it is said that during WW2, ths school had been made the Japanese Headquarter where there are so many killings and torturing. It is even rumoured that there is a secret tunnel that will lead to Main Convent, next to Ipoh Parade but so far, none has seen the tunnel. Some said that the tunnel is located at the foot of The Deo Gratias statue in the foyer..so Michaelians, check it out. Ok, here it goes. St Michael has been rumoured with many ghost stories due to its long history and one of the most famous one would be the little girl in yellow dress. It was believed that this girl is one of the victims during Japanese occupation and since her death, she has been haunting the top floor of the main building. She was seen to wander around late in the evening or early morning but so far there are only 2 stories which I remember until now.

The first story:
Many years ago, there was a fire drill and all the students are required to line up at the field. There were this dicipline teacher and 2 prefects, patrolling the school to make sure everyone has left the classroom. There are 2 staircase, each at the end of the building, the far left and far right side. The teacher asked prefect A t take the left staircase and prefect B to take the right staircase. They were ordered to ascend to the third floor to check if anyone was left behind. When prefect B was ascending, a girl in yellow dress came out of nowhere descending the same staircse and ignore the prefect, ran down the stair. The prefect clled for herbut she didnt give any response and soon after that, disappear from sight. The prefect was confused to see a girl in an all-boys school. After that, both prefects reached the third floor and the teacher came up too. Prefect B asked the teacher whether the teacher got meet a girl in yellow dress since the teacher came from the way exactly where the little girl ran to( in opposite direction, they should have met). Suprisingly, the teacher denied of seeing any girl. Not a single soul is spotted since the whole building is vacant except for the 3 of them. Prefect B was shocked but suddenly, Prefect A said 'I saw the girl, I met her at the far left side, coming down from staircase.' How come a person can run down the far right side staircase but appear at the far left side of the building at the same time? It is not possible at all.

The second story:
This happened when I was in Form 2. This incident did not happen to me but to the another class of the same form. It was in 2005 where this class was having Living Skill subject(Kemahiran Hidup). The class was divided into 2 and the other half was having their lesson in the workshop while the other half was having their lesson in a class next to surau at the THIRD FLOOR. This Malay teacher was teaching and was one of my favourite teachers too. A very kind and motherly teacher. This class is divided into 2 where the front portion is used for lesson and the back portion is empty. The 2 portions are separated by wooden wall with transparent mirror in the middle. Therefore, the front portion can view the back portion clearly and vice versa. When this teacher was so engrossed in teaching, she paused suddenly and was looking at the back of the class in horror. She was looking directly to the mirror on the wooden wall. She kept quiet and looked pale. The class was silent too and most of them turned to look at the back of the class. A few students kept quiet and looked pale too. They were in horror but most of the students did not see anything and kept wondering what has caused the lesson to be disrupted. Not long after that, the teacher continue to teach and pretend as if nothing had happened. When the bell rang, the teacher calmly walked out of the class and went back. When the class asked the few students who looked pale just now, they were taken aback of what they heard next. It was said that behind the transparent mirror, which is the back portion of the class, they saw a little girl in yellow dress, was walking here and there. She walked to the left and to the right. After that, she vanished into thin air. Thse who saw her were in horror and the teacher was the first to see her but did not let the students know. She did not want to freak the students out.

Ghost Encounter or A Dream?

This happened to me when it was late at night. I was sleeping soundly on my bed with my back facing the ceilig of my room. It was dark as usual and I remember that I was partially awakened by someone. Someone who came into my room that very night. It was a woman with long hair. I think that she was wearing long robe but due to darkness, I couldn't see the colour of the robe. She came near to me and covered me with my blanket. I thought she was my mom but my mom has short hair! After she covered me with blanket, suprisingly she laid a kiss on my shoulder. I felt the kiss and it was so real. The lady went out of my room but I was still looking at her in a state of partial awake. She was standing at the corridor and this time, staring at my sisters' room. I felt asleep after that and the next morning, i asked my mom and my siblings if they happened to come into my room last night. They denied and they claimed that they were not awake at all that night. When I told them the story, my mm told me that it was just a dream but the kiss was so real. Until now, I still cannt figure out what happened that night, probably just a dream, I guess.
